Outfit of the day

This is just a quick post whilst I prepare for my next makeup review to give you guys a taste and idea of what style I, as a blogger go for. Today I have gone for just a simplistic look which ill be totally honest didn't take much time or effort to chuck on. Thought id also add a bit of a teethe smile there for you guys as well.

Okay so today I went for just a t-shirt dress and a scarf. Not to difficult when getting ready really. Now some of you may notice that this is not meant to be a dress in fact is meant to be a longer style top however there were no other sizes available other than a size 16 (usually a size 12) so I decided to try it on and it turns out to make a very nice causal look. So whenever your out this just goes to show that even if you go to a store and your size is unavailable you can still get creative with what's in front of you.

Personally I love stripes. I think that the biggest issue in my wardrobe is that most of what I purchase is stripes, so when I saw this top/dress I fell in love with it. This dress/top was purchased George by Asda in the sale.
Usually when there is a sale I get so excited but once you've experienced it you just want to get out and make a run for it. I couldn't argue as I picked a fair few decent bargains and this top/dress was only £4 so I simply could not of gone wrong here. Just the whole experience of trying to find something decent on the sale racks is so hard. Clothes either have the biggest of dirt marks or foundation stains round the collar which I will never understand. I even chose to go in the evening as it wasn't until mum had said shed popped into Asda that I even contemplated going, but the time I got there half of the shelf had gone. So with sales you either queue up and shove your way through to the racks or you go in the evening and face half emptied racks that have clothes everywhere or the staff have just cleaned up so they eyeball you up and down making sure you don't wreck the place again.

Anyways enough about the fanatic of sale experiences.

The colour of the dress is navy/cream stripes. It has a round neck which can suit certain shape faces
but I love how it hugs you neck as its not itchy around the collar in the slightest. Its been washed and tumble dried and guess what it hasn't even shrunk. I can buy clothes from Primark and after one wash well if I was the tiniest of people maybe I could fit in. If you ever felt you wanted to dress this dress up a bit more you could always buy a waste belt to go around to make it a bit more jazzy. The scarf on the other hand is one of my favourites that I purchased from Dorothy Perkins in Outfit for only a tenner. Hasn't done me wrong yet. And not to mention if your a student Outfit is the place to be with 10% student discount going on at the moment!

Just on a side note you do not always have to purchase items from the high end retailers to get a decent product. If your a person who looks for the finer detail then maybe shopping in this retailer may not be for you but there are a few good bargains out there and the chance to become creative with your style this Autumn!
